Las Vegas Jr Wranglers Youth Hockey

The Las Vegas Jr. Wranglers invites boys and girls ages 12 and under to the Fiesta Rancho on October 17th for a Try Hockey for Free clinic to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment.

"We look forward to introducing new families to our sport," said Matt Edlin. "Not only is youth hockey the best sports option, it is also one of the safest. According to National Center for Sports Safety reports, there are less than half as many hockey related injuries per year than baseball, basketball or soccer."

Opportunities to get into youth hockey continue to grow with cost-effective options.

"To help keep costs reasonable for parents, we've incorporated programs to provide first-year players with equipment for the season in addition to cross-ice options which keeps expenses down," said Matt Edlin.

One of our very own Jr. Wrangler's goalie, Jayden Shaul and his Pacific Selects AAA 2002 birth year tournament team won the Chi Town Shuffle Tournament in April.  The AAA team provides an opportunity for the competitive players to join an elite team for the summer elite tournaments. The team will meet for the North American Champions tournament here in Las Vegas in July.  Congratulations Jayden!!  We are so proud of you!!!!
